There are also plenty of great events going on for Women’s History Month to help you show solidarity for your sisters. The city always has heaps of great shows, concerts, comedy and culture on offer in March and throughout the year as well. As you start to plan out your calendar for the month, check out our picks for what to do this week in NYC!

St. Patrick’s Day in NYC

Every year on March 17, NYC turns into a city of shamrocks! Pick out your very best all-green attire and join the crowds to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the way only New Yorkers know how to do. The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, marking the death of Ireland’s most celebrated patron saint, starts at 11 a.m. at 44th Street and Fifth Avenue. If you’re hankering for a drink, hop on board the St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl — register at one of the starting venues to get a wristband and map, and then plot out a course to party your way through! For a more low-key adventure, check out the lower Manhattan walking tour and explore the former “Little Ireland” District while learning about Irish history.
