La Superior

La Superior has been around for awhile and just continues to get more and more popular. It’s a tight space, sure, but if you don’t mind a crowd, duck in here for a cheap and delicious Mexican treat. The guava margaritas are a must as is the cochinita pibil taco with spicy shredded pork marinated in banana leaf. People also love to chips and guacamole and the chorizo taco. Located in Williamsburg on Berry between S. 2nd and S. 3rd Streets.

Chavela’s

Located in Crown Heights at Franklin Ave and Sterling Place, CHavela’s is a great little haunt for a date or cozy night out with friends. It’s not that expensive and it has a very warm and chill ambience with a full bar and great selection of wines and beers. The fish taco and carnitas taco are two crowd-pleasers but people rave about everything on the menu. Sit up at the bar or grab a comfy table in the dining room and settle in for a great night.
