Pride Month

NYC’s Pride 2019 celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, marking a historic moment in the fight for LGBTQ liberation. No matter your orientation, join the city as it celebrates this momentous occasion with lots of different speakers, events, parties, and lectures throughout the month of June. The crowning event is the world’s largest Pride parade on June 30 at noon, beginning at 26th Street and 5th Avenue.

Shakespeare in the Park

Want to pack a picnic, watch a Tony Award-winning actor, and see a world-class performance all for free? Make a plan to stop atCentral Park’s Delacorte Theater for “Much Ado About Nothing” for a true cultural treat, all while enjoying one of the most beautiful settings in all of NYC. The motto here is “un pueblo, muchas voces,” meaning “one nation, many voices.” Everyone is welcome here to celebrate the creativity and diversity of the Puerto Rican community both on the mainland, and in the island nation.
